Musician and actor Elvis Presley enjoyed rapid fame from the mid-1950s on radio, TV and the silver screen. Today, he continues to be one of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll. There is only one Elvis, but his memory lives on in the enduring performances of Alan Ennis.
In 1955, Elvis developed a following with fans being drawn to his unusual musical style, provocative gyrating hips and good looks. That same year, he signed with RCA Records and scored his first No.1 single with "Heartbreak Hotel," as well as his first No.1 album, Elvis Presley.
You’ll Think “The King” is Back
Elvis Presley was the undisputed King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, but his style inspired generations! It evolved over a number of years, from pegged pants with single-button blazers to all-black leather looks. By the 1970s, spangled and bedazzled jumpsuits became his signature stage look.
Alan Ennis began his performing career when he was just a teenager. Everyone in his family sings and he always had a passion for singing songs by “The King”. He has a deep love of everything and anything Elvis!
Alan began singing in local clubs and always included a few songs by “The King” in his set. The crowd loved it, which soon had him toying with the idea of doing a complete tribute show, understanding that only the best and most authentic suits and accessories would be acceptable to dedicated fans.
After weeks of research, Alan bought the best authentic costumes from “SKP Jumpsuits” and a handmade “68 Come Back Special” suit made by “Wested Leathers”, whom make clothes for Harrison Ford’s movie character, Indiana Jones. Alan prides himself on his outfits, they’re an important part of the performance.
